Twins or Multiples
[23 August 2008] -Most people feel that this is so cool, especially if this is your first pregnancy then you can have your family in one go. Most people do not think of the "double trouble" that lies ahead, the feeding and burping sessions, the sleepless nights.
Even before you get to have the above-mentioned splendours of parenting you still need to get through the pregnancy.
Monozygotic which stems from one ovum which splits to produce two (or more) exact replicas. These twins will grow up to look exactly the same and even react the same where genetic make-up plays a role in the type of response that is required.
Biovular twins are when two egg cells were released by the mother and two individual sperm go to work. These twins do not look the same nor are they always of the same gender.
