[22 July 2008] - Whereas adherence to the curriculum is an essential component, a considerable proportion of the learner’s academic day is devoted to strengthening basic skills. To this effect the number of learners in one classroom remains small (with a strict limit of 12 learners per class), the teachers are all experienced and qualified teachers with specialised education training and a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech and language therapists are on hand to work with the learners.
